2022 – WR – Kevin Coleman – St Mary’s HS, MO – 5’11 / 170

247 Rank:  National - 18 / WR - 3 / MO – 1

Commitment – Un-Decided

Name/Location/Date/Time of film for evaluation – 3 Different Sophomore Season – Hudl - 4/4/20 – 9m 19sec

Physical Attributes –  Kevin has decent size.  H is built like slot receiver/CB.   He exhibits elite burst, acceleration and long speed.  He also exhibits elite change of direction and elite burst out of cuts. The twitch he has causes major problems for defenders.  He shows elite balance and body control and can adjust to the ball where ever it is thrown.  Kevin has god given, physical abilities and attributes that causes coaches to drool.

Position Specific Skills –  At the WR position, Kevin is elite in just about all of them.  His burst on his get off to his ability to drop his weight and change direction on a dime is power 5 level right now.  He shows great play speed and long speed vs the competition he plays against.  He is electric and dynamic.  He is highly elusive before and after the catch.  His ability to adjust to the ball in the air and his ability to snatch the ball is impressive.  His effort shows big time and his toughness on every play, there is a lack of blocking on the exposure but I am willing to say he can do it and do it effectively.

Overall –  Kevin has the skill set to be an elite WR as well as an elite CB at the next level.  Albeit he will be a WR I always like to make sure you are aware of the physical tools he has.  The more tools any athlete has the more he is worth in the sports world.  He is elite in the most important aspects of any skill position.  He can run like the wind and change direction like a rabbit.  Those 2 things will make him a very productive player at the next level.  With the right coaches knowing how to put him in situations and mis-matches will accelerate his success.  He has excellent hands, can adjust to the ball, has great spatial awareness.  He has the tools to play now, especially if he is a mid-year graduate.  He is a man playing amongst boys.  Always a step ahead when he is setting up defenders.  He is highly instinctive and it shows on film.  He fights for the end zone on every play.  As he develops physically, he will become more and more productive.  I am looking forward to seeing his name in the lights in the years to come.  Has professional potential if he puts in the work in mastering his craft.  The faster and more explosive he gets, the thicker he gets, the more he will be sought after, due to his size.
