Karlo Zovko is a Pittsburgh native and a seasoned professional in college football recruiting with over a decade of industry experience. A 2016 graduate of Duquesne University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a concentration in Sports Marketing, Karlo’s career has been defined by his commitment to identifying and nurturing top-tier athletic talent.
As a student, Karlo worked with Duquesne’s football program as a Video Coordinator and Operations Assistant, helping the team secure the 2015 Northeast Conference (NEC) championship and a berth in the NCAA Division I Playoffs. He then served as a Football Recruiting Graduate Assistant at the University of Toledo, where he contributed to a 9-4 season in 2016 and helped assemble a 2017 recruiting class ranked as the best in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) by 247Sports, Rivals, and Scout.
Karlo later joined the Pitt Panthers as a Recruiting Graduate Assistant and quickly rose to the role of Assistant Director of Player Personnel. During his tenure, Pitt achieved consecutive Top 25 finishes and 20 combined wins over two seasons, fueled by Karlo’s ability to recruit elite talent. Notable signees under his guidance include All-American performers like defensive tackle Calijah Kancey, safety Erick Hallett II, and wide receiver Jordan Addison, who went on to win the 2021 Biletnikoff Award.
In addition to his work with college programs, Karlo has served as a recruiting reporter for 247Sports and Preps.com and as a color analyst for high school football broadcasts on the Champs Sports Network.
Karlo’s expertise in talent evaluation, strategic recruiting, and player development makes him a key asset to the Pylon 7on7 team, where he continues to shape the future of football by connecting athletes with opportunities to excel.
