Physical Attributes – Trent has height, length and thickness to his body. Excellent twitch, balance and body control for size. He has really good burst and acceleration on his get off and runs really well straight-line for his size. Trent is athletic and is a natural catcher. Trent also shows he has a strong upper body and is a powerful blocker.
Position Specific Skills – Trent is a tough, instinctive football player. He can set the edge with his excellent feet or use his strength and down block a DT/DE. He runs really good routes. He shows good initial quicks and get off. He has really good hands and he can run really well for size. His football IQ shows on film.
Overall – One of the top, overall, true TE’s I have seen to this point in time. Trent does it all. It doesn’t surprise me that his dad is an assistant with the NYG. Trent has size, athleticism, burst and acceleration, can catch the ball, and can run for his size. He makes plays. On top of all that he has the length, strength, power and toughness to block. He can set the edge. He is a true TE that can affect the game in run or pass situations. I like him a lot.
