Physical Attributes – JaCorey has good height and length and shows some thickness to his frame. He is agile and fluid with good twitch. He has good burst and acceleration and good play speed. Not an elite runner but very productive on both sides of the ball. He is a strong, tough kid that has many good physical traits.
Position Specific Skills – It is very tough to pick a position for JaCorey but I will say this; He shows good feet, balance and body control with decent burst and good play speed. He has great vision and is very instinctive with or without the ball in his hands. He is not overly dynamic and doesn’t have elite long speed but you can’t discount his production all ove the field with his skill set. A unique player that could possibly play both sides of the ball at the next level.
Overall – JaCorey is a very productive, 3 way football player, in a very competitive football area. The question is what will JaCorey be in a few years? I don’t think I know the answer to that question right now but I can say he is a very good, overall, football player that does a bunch of things very well. I like his versatility. Once he matures physically, I see him as a safety, who can drop down in the box. A tough kid, who is athletic and who is very instinctive as a football player. JaCorey also excels on the basketball court which I like and think it transitions to the football field.
