2022 – WR – Jaylin Terzado – Champagnat, FL – 6’0 / 155
247 Rank: National - N/A / WR - N/A / FL – N/A
Commitment – Undecided
Name/Location/Date/Time of film for evaluation – Junior SZN - Hudl - 2/18/21 - 3m 38sec
Physical Attributes – Jaylin shows decent height and length. He has a skinny frame that I don’t know how much weight it can hold. He has excellent balance and body control, burst, acceleration, and shows some long speed. He claims a sub 22 200m (If he runs that I will comply that he is elite until then he is surely fast). You can see the explosion on tape.
Position Specific Skills – Jaylin shows good initial quickness, burst and acceleration. He has good hands and can win jump balls as he can adjust his body to the ball in the air. He has excellent play speed. He can be elusive after the catch with his twitchy body. If he gets the DB off balance with his cut he can be a deep threat for sure with his speed. A willing blocker and does show some toughness on a couple clips.
Overall – I would like to know a couple things about Jaylin, his true long speed numbers and how big can he get. He is raw and he can run. Shows great burst. The down side is you don’t see a ton on this exposure in terms of the route tree, dropping weight, getting in and out of cuts. I do want to see more. He is fairly productive in a good football league for high school. He is one of those FL kids that will probably mature and have a chance to make it to the league but right this second I cannot confirm.
