Physical Attributes – Qualon has a unique frame with his physical attributes. He has a shorter, more compact, powerful frame. He has excellent feet, balance and body control along with excellent lateral movement. His lower body strength is evident. He shows he is explosive with the ball in his hands. He also has great play speed and can get to the end zone although I am not positive how truly fast he is but he is fast enough. His height and length shouldn’t deter programs. In today’s game Qualon can be productive at the power 5 level if put in the right situations.
Position Specific Skills – Qualon has elite quickness, balance/body control, instincts and vision. He also has above average burst and acceleration and play speed. His lower body is thick enough to bounce off arm tackles and shows to be highly elusive with the ball in his hands. He shows soft hands in the pass game and can be highly productive with a simple flare or in the screen game. He is a tough runner and powerful runner.
Overall – Qualon is impressive. A ton of wow plays vs good competition. His balance and body control, lateral movement, jump cuts, burst and acceleration are elite. He has great vision and an understanding how to set up the 2nd, 3rd and 4th would be tacklers. With his great burst and acceleration out of cuts, Qualon shows he is elite at doing his job. He will be a nightmare on inside zone runs as well as in the screen game. I like Qualoln’s skill level a lot and see him as a unique piece in anyone's offensive warchest. Don’t let his lack of length fool you into going elsewhere looking for production out of the backfield. Your team can’t be littered with smaller backs but if you don’t have a player with this skill set I advise you to add Qualon to your team.
