Commitment – Undecided

Name/Location/Date/Time of film for evaluation – Sophomore Season Highlights - Hudl - 12/18/2019 - 5m 38sec

Physical Attributes –  Kamari has good height and length and thick lowers.  He shows he has a powerful lower body.  He has twitch and good feet.  Shows to have decent balance and body control with some lower body stiffness that affect change of direction.  Runs well straight line but not elite.  Is an explosive tackler.

Position Specific Skills –  Kamari for sure can play the ball in the deep part of the field.  Not much (if any) man coverage on this exposure as he must show he can do so at the power 5 level unless he is a true ⅓ ½ player.  He is an excellent tacker that will knock you back.  He shows he can run and has good burst and acceleration to play sideline to sideline.  Will also fly to the alley and make plays with his good play speed.   He is a very instinctive, tough kid who gives maximum effort.

Overall – Kamari can play the deep part of the zone and he can buzz in the box and make plays in the run game.  A productive player that had 80T, 5 INT, 15 PBU’s as a Sophomore.  I really like the way he plays.  He exhibits a toughness and instinctiveness you want out of all your players.  Must work on hip flexibility and change of direction to assist  him in being able to play man coverage.  Unless used as a 1 high safety he will be asked to cover in the slot at times at the collegiate level.  He has a chance to be a really good player in the power 5
