Physical Attributes – Jaheim is a tall, long, rangy, lean athlete. He has great play speed but not sure if the speed is elite. He is a long strider that has solid feet, balance and body control. He can change direction well for his size and also shows short area quickness. His reactionary quickness is excellent. Can see it then react to it. He is an overall, really good athlete with the measurable to go with it.
Position Specific Skills – Jahiem can play both man and zone concepts. His body type is prototypical for the CB position. He can play the deep part of the field and win the one on one’s vs the usually, smaller, WR’s. Jaheim can run, stay with defenders, he shows good burst and acceleration with the ability to catch up while the ball is in the air. Jaheim also shows very good balance and body control along with the ability to change direction. He shows to be a more of a finesse player but is a willing tackler. A cut tackler at times.
Overall – Jaheim is a 2-way standout against really good competition. He has prototypical size to be a CB. He is a twitchy athlete who can run. He uses his long levers to bat down passes and to catch balls. He has a high ceiling but must get in that weight room and get stronger and put on more weight. The WR’s at the next level are bigger and stronger. He must get on that level and if he does get to around 200lbs, and you add his height and length, with his ability to run, to a frame like that, whoa.
