Physical Attributes – Kamari has solid size and length for a Saf/DB. He shows he has short area quickness and twitch, excellent balance and body control, good burst and acceleration and can run really well. He shows he has great overall athletic ability with hands to go along with it.
Position Specific Skills – Kamari shows he has excellent balance and body control, burst and acceleration and catch up speed but not elite off this exposure. Can play both man and zone concepts. In zone he fills the alley well and can tackle in space. He is an excellent open field tackler that does so with toughness and grit. He can also play the deep half with excellent range. In man concept he shows he can run with the receiver, open is hips with ease and change direction with the receiver as he is running the route. He uses his overall athletic ability to bat down passes and his hands to intercept. A very instinctive player that produces vs good competition.
Overall – I see Kamari being a productive player at the power 5 level. He can make an impact in both man and zone concepts from the Safety position. His ability to play the deep zone, come down and fill the alley on run plays and his ability to play man coverage makes him elite at what he does. He will only get better as he continues to grow into his body.
