Physical Attributes –  Sam is a physical freak for his size. He is over 6’, long arms with a thick mid-section and thick lowers.  He is a powerful athlete who possesses physical attributes that can translate to both sides of the ball at the highest level of college football.  He is explosive.  He shows great spatial awareness along with balance and body control.  He exhibits straight-line speed with explosive power. He has great hands and can win the jump ball both as a DB and as a WR.  When he is fully developed physically, I am not fully sure what he will be in terms of position, but what I can say is he will look like a Geek God.

Position Specific Skills – I am going to go through both WR and Safety due to the fact that he could probably play both.  Excellent balance, body control, feet and hips.  He can run with explosive power.  Strong upper body, strong hands with a big catch radius.  A very instinctice athlete who exhibits above average competitiveness and effort.  At WR he would be more of an outside type WR with his size and strength.  He can drop his weight and burst after cuts.  Not a big, make you miss guy with his size and strength but is a fluid athlete that can over power most smaller players on either side of the ball.  His leaping ability is also above average allowing him to be a read a zone threat on offense and a read zone nightmare on defense.  He can block and get off blocks with his strength and power.

Overall – Another athlete where the sky is the limit.  His physical attribute are too many to count.  I had the pleasure to see him live at a 7v7 event in Dallas.  He was a man amongst boys vs very good competition.  His high school film says it all.  He is a dynamic playmaker on both sides of the ball vs very good competition.  He has a very, very bright future ahead of him if he decides to give it all to being the best he can be.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see him as a Anquon Boldin type on offense or on defense like a Derwin James or a Minkah Fitzpatrick at the power 5 level.
