Physical Attributes – Jalil has solid size and length and some lower body thickness on his frame. He shows solid get off and burst on both sides of the ball. He is a steady runner with good athletic ability. Excellent play speed but not elite.
Position Specific Skills – Watching the film, on both sides of the ball, Jalil looks like a possession type WR or a Saf. He has some range and length to cover the deep half and to catch balls with a good catch radius. He shows he has good balance and body control and good get off. Hips are a bit tight coming out of back pedal and flipping. He has sneaky good play speed but not elite. Good spatial awareness and good hands. Is an excellent route runner that can see the coverage and fit his routes into the open area. Would like to see more physically out of him on both sides of the ball.
Overall – Jalil is a good player that is productive on both sides of the ball. A very instinctive football player that has good overall athletic ability. He shows he has great hands and is a refined route runner. I am looking forward to seeing more from him his senior year. He must work on his short are quicks, ability to flip his hips, ability to drop his weight and burst and accelerate out of cuts.
