Physical Attributes – With decent size and a lean body Chace possesses a blazing verified 10.7 100, 22.46 200 in track. Chace is above average with twitch, short area quickness, feet, balance and body control along with elite burst and acceleration with great explosiveness. In time, he will be a 205-215lb Safety who can run. He shows he has elite athleticism and the fluidness you want out of a Safety.
Position Specific Skills – Chace has it all when it comes to skills at the Safety position. He can play the deep part of the field whether it be in a cover 2 or cover 3 look. He has the tools to play man to man but very limited on this exposure and in the scheme his team plays. In zone coverage he plays both like a QB on the field as well as being a drop down type safety who can tackle in space. He is a cut tackler at times. Would like to see him run through the ball carrier more often. His feet, balance and body control, burst and acceleration are elite. A sideline to sideline player with good hips that shows he can change direction. He plays with toughness and with effort and is very productive.
Overall – I really like Chace. A high skill level in all facets of being a DB. Can play the deep zone, play man coverage and can buzz in the box with the ability to fly to the alley and make tackles in space. His verified speed puts him in an elite class. Chace has a high ceiling and as his body matures he will continue to separate himself and the competition. I see big things from Chace as a power 5 player.
