Name/Location/Date/Time of film for evaluation – Michael D. Williams ll Mid Season Highlights– Hudl – 10/2/2019 – 1m 59 sec

Physical Attributes – Michael has excellent height, length and weight at this time.  A twitchy athlete for size who shows a good first step and can run really well.  His body will ultimately tell the tale.  He looks like he can add a lot of weight making him a true DE type that may max out at the 6’3 / 250+ range.

Position Specific Skills –  Michaeel shows good initial quicks and get off.  Has decent balance and body control although not much on exposure to show true ability to play in space as a Jack LB.  Good speed rusher who uses his hands and can disengage.  He can run really well.  A long strider.  Must work on upper body strength for power rush techniques.  A solid tackler who can hunt.  He also shows good overall athleticism and is a very instinctive player who is productive.

Overall – Listed as a OLB who has film at the DE position with his hand in the dirt.  The most difficult film to evaluate is front to back especially when the player has his hand in the ground.  Michael possesses an excellent frame for an OLB/DE, he is tall and ong and has the body to add weight.  Looks more like a 4-3 DE rather than an OLB with his skill set due to limited space play on the exposure.  He looks athletic enough, right now, to play OLB.  In my opinion would be more of a 4-3 Sam backer rather than a 3-4 Jack LB.  Shows good twitch and a good first step and he can run straight line with his long strides.  He shows good overall athleticism as well.  Looks like he can get to 250+ with his frame.  Need to see more in space to determine his ceiling at the OLB position.  His body type will tell the story where he ends up and right now is a bit of a tweener.
