Physical Attributes – Jeremiah is a tall, long levered, lean athlete. He shows good balance and body control, a little stiff hipped at times which affects his ability to flip hips and run and his change of direction. He runs well for length but does not possess elite burst, acceleration or long speed. Physically Jeremiah needs to put on some weight, get bigger and get stronger. The deciding factor of how good and at what position for Jeremiah in the long run will be his development physically.
Position Specific Skills – Jeremiah shows solid feet, balance and body control. He also has decent burst, acceleration and game speed. Not an elite runner but a solid runner who has elite height and length. A bit stiff in his hips and high in his back pedal due to length but is solid in transition from back pedal. Can play both man and zone concepts and can play the deep part of the field. He does show the toughness you want out of a true CB but is not overly physical as a player. He has solid hands, playing WR as well. Jeremiah is an instinctive, finesse player whose best days are ahead of him.
Overall – Jeremiah is a versatile, long levered athlete that can do many things well. He is a solid player on both sides of the ball. His size may move him to Safety in the future as his body matures. A very instinctive football player that is very productive. He has a unique skill set in that he is 6’3 doing things with the ease of a 5’11 person. I look forward to seeing Jeremiah develop in the coming years.
