Physical Attributes – Alex has a great, thick frame with good height and length.  He is a strong kid with powerful lower extremities.  He shows really good feet, twitch and overall athletic ability.  He can make people miss with the ball in his hands with his good balance and body control.

Position Specific Skills –  Alex has good feet quicks and set up in the pocket.  He has above average athletic ability with the skill level to throw on the run or tuck it and run.  A very instinctive football player who makes good decisions.  He is accurate with the ball and has good touch along with good arm strength when he needs it.  A tough kid who can take a pounding and keep going.  He can break tackles with his strong lower body and gain yards.  He can both be a zone or power read QB.  I like his toughness as a player.

Overall –  Alex is very productive as he accounted for 2627yds and 27 TD’s his junior year.   He can both run and pass the ball at a high level.  Not a dynamic runner but a power runner with good vision and good overall athletic ability.  He is very instinctive as a football player, who has pocket awareness and makes good decisions.  He plays like a true point guard.  As a passer he shows good throwing motion and can get the ball out quickly when needed.  You can visually see him read his progressions and deliver with accuracy.  He also has good arm strength when he needs to zip the ball in there.  I believe Orji has a high ceiling with a body that can take hits in the pocket.
