2022 – QB – Holden Geriner – Benedictine MIlitary, GA – 6’3 / 210

247 Rank:  National - 389 / QB - 18  / GA – 36

Commitment – Auburn University

Name/Location/Date/Time of film for evaluation – Junior Full Season - Hudl - 1/8/21 - 4m 57sec

Physical Attributes – Holden is tall with a good, thick frame.  He is good enough athletically to keep the defense honest in the ‘read’ game.  He is not dynamic with the ball but can get yards.  He shows he has a  strong build with good twitchy feet in the pocket.

Position Specific Skills –  Holden has excellent feet and set up in the pocket.  He has good mechanics.  He does hold the ball lower at times but can change arm angles and deliver with velocity and accuracy.  He is mobile in and  out of the pocket with the ability to tuck and run or throw on the run.  He is a very good decision maker and is very instinctive.  A tough kid that shows he is competitive.

Overall –  Holden is a productive and accurate Pro style QB with 68% completion %, 2770yds, 25 TD’s, 3 INT’s as a Junior.  He has good size, reads his progressions and can deliver the ball with touch and will zip.  He has an above average pocket awareness and is athletic enough to keep people honest.  He can throw on the run really well to the right and to the left.  He can alter his arm angle and still be accurate.  I like Holden a lot.  He has a great skill set with great size and is a winner.   Auburn is getting a good one.
