2022 – CB – James Monds – Fort Pierce Westwood, FL – 5’10 / 177

247 Rank:  National - 746 / CB - 73  / FL– 106

Commitment – Undecided

Name/Location/Date/Time of film for evaluation – 13 - Hudl - 8/21/20 - 8m 27sec

Physical Attributes –James has decent height and length with some thick lowers.  He has good feet with decent balance and body control.  Is a little, lower body, stiff but that doesn’t affect his production.  He is good in space, can change direction, he can run and when he has the ball in his hands he can make people miss.

Position Specific Skills – James can play both man and zone concepts.  He can play the deep part of the field.  He has solid feet and hips and can change direction.  He shows he is twitchy and has short area quickness with good burst and acceleration and catch up speed.  A very instinctive football player and overall athlete.  He can catch the ball and he is a high effort/tough kid who can tackle.

Overall – James blocks kicks, returns kicks for TD’s, pick 6’s, INT’s, PBU’s, 21 goals in Soccer in 2019.  Father played at Toledo.  His uncle and cousin played D1 and both played in the NFL as well.   Lets just say I believe that James is a bit undervalued.  A play maker that is a great overall athlete, who likes to compete, that has a family history of ballers.  James will only get better with time.  I see him as one of those 247 3*’s that makes it to the super bowl.  That is why I am making James a 4*!
