Physical Attributes – Zach is put together well. He is a shorter, thicker body type who runs with a low center of gravity. He has excellent balance and body control and feet. A choppy runner with good lateral movements who had a verified 11.26 100 as a sophomore. He runs well but lacks elite long speed. He has strong lowers and runs with strength and power. He shows decent quickness
Position Specific Skills – Zach shows good initial quickness and feet as he runs with a low center of gravity. He has good balance and body control along with good burst and acceleration. His play speed is solid but not elite. He runs with power and has the ability to break tackles. Not a dynamic runner but more of a power runner, that is tough and has solid hands.
Overall – Zach carried 196/1223yds as a junior. He is productive vs good competition. He possesses great vision with the ability to jump cut to make people miss with good burst and acceleration after cuts. He has strong lowers which allows him to break tackles. A solid RB that has the body to carry the load. A tough kid who can be a 3 down back with the body and strength to block and hands to catch the ball out of the backfield.
