Physical Attributes – Jay is a slot sized WR with elite get off. He gets vertical on you fast with his explosive first step and steady speed. He has excellent twitch along with excellent balance and body control. He can put his foot in the ground at full speed.
Position Specific Skills – Jay shows excellent initial quickness and has good body control. A straight line up right runner who has elite burst and acceleration and great play speed but not elite. He shows he can be a deep threat with his ability to stab and redirect at full speed. He shows he can catch the ball as a WR and as a returner. He is not overly elusive or fluid but uses his elite burst to create separation.
Overall – Jay is productive with 73/1310/14 statistics. He is a great returner as well as a WR. This is a guy that has elite get off and is a refined route runner. Knows how to set up the DB, stick his foot in the ground and get vertical. He shows excellent play speed. A verified 23.33 200 shows he is fast but not elite but you can’t argue with the production against good competition. He will be a productive WR in college at the slot position but could also be used outside with his ability to create separation and quick feet.
