2023– Ath – Jameel Croft – Martin Luther King, MI - 6’1 / 165

247 Rank:  National - N/A / WR - N/A / FL – N/A

Commitment – Undecided

Name/Location/Date/Time of film for evaluation –Sophomore 6’1 180 ATH - Hudl - 11/30/2020 - 5m 8sec

Physical Attributes – Jameel has solid height with a thin/lean body with long levers.  His body has room to gain mass which will help him in all facets of his game.  He shows good balance and body control and is a fluid all around good athlete.  He shows good burst and acceleration and good range.  Not an elite runner.

Position Specific Skills – I will mix his skill level between DB/WR.  Jameel has good feet, shows he is twitchy, and has good balance and body control.  He is fluid, can drop weight, and can change direction well.  He has excellent initial burst and acceleration and is a long strider to get to top end speed.  He has good hands and can adjust to the ball or play the ball in the deep part of the field.  With excellent play/field awareness and instincts he shows he can see the play and react.  He does show a willingness to stick his face in there and shows toughness.  As he matures physically it will enhance those traits.

Overall – I am not too sure that Jameel is a WR as he looks the part on defense as well which will make him coveted.  He looks natural at DB and wouldn’t be surprised if he is a CB or Safety at the end of the day.  He is a very athletic, lean, fluid skill player with good burst and acceleration who shows he is a very instinctive football player that can produce on either side of the ball.  His ceiling will be tied to his true speed and physical make up in a few years.  He has a chance to be a really good football player at the collegiate level.
